ASDA'A BM's Arab Youth Survey wins In2 SABRE 'Thought Leadership in PR' Award for record third year running
- Agency’s own Arab Youth Survey secures three nominations
- PR industry’s most prestigious awards recognise work with Aujan Industries and Coca-Cola, Dubai International Film Festival, and Emirates Hospitality’s UAE launch of Millions of Milkshakes with Kim Kardashian
Dubai, UAE, 17 April 2012: The Middle East’s leading PR agency, ASDA’A Burson-Marsteller this week received a record number of nominations for the SABRE Gold and Silver Awards for the Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region – the highest of any PR agency in the Middle East. The Dubai-headquartered agency, with 140 staff and 11 fully-owned offices across the region, secured six nominations for its PR campaigns and work in reputation management for its clients.
The SABRE Awards are globally acknowledged as the PR industry’s most coveted and highly-contested annual accolades, and this year attracted more than 2,200 entries from agencies from across the EMEA region. The awards are organised by specialist PR industry publication, The Holmes Report.
Leading the nominations is the third annual ASDA’A Burson-Marsteller Arab Youth Survey, presented in March 2011, the agency’s own thought leadership platform and the largest research programme conducted with the Arab World’s largest demographic, its youth. The agency received three nominations - one SABRE Gold nomination within the Professional Service Firms category, as well as finalist status in two Silver categories, PR Agency Citizenship and Thought Leadership in PR - for its work on the survey. The findings of the 2012 Arab Youth Survey, which has been expanded to 2,500 interviews with young nationals in 12 countries including for the first time Tunisia and Libya, will be unveiled next month.
The additional SABRE Gold nominations received by ASDA’A B-M in this year’s awards are: The Announcement of US$1billion Partnership between Aujan and Coca-Cola, on behalf of Aujan Industries (Middle East category); The Launch of Millions of Milkshakes UAE with Kim Kardashian for Emirates Hospitality (Food Services category); and Films That Lead You to the Unexpected, in partnership with the Eighth Dubai International Film Festival (Educational and Cultural Institutions category).
